Consider Me First!
In every circumstance in life, there is always one which
we must consider. Problems seeking for attention and enough consideration, we
know that we can’t do two things at one time. That’s why we have the great
saying that the Time is like gold. It’s very important and everyone wanted it.
In the journey of Aeneas, he got lots of things must be considered. But how
would he be going to it at the same time? He doesn’t have more than two hands
and he only has one mind and heart.
Aeneas’s
wife Creusa begged him for their safety of his son. But we know that Aeneas is
a hero who got lots of things to think about. He doesn’t know what he’s going
to do. He doesn’t know what he’s going to do first. There’s a combat he needed
to accompany and protect. There is God watching him. And there’s a family who
are waiting for him to save them. Like Andromache who pleads Hector. But
suffers most due to the other work he must consider. To finish these tasks, one
must be sacrificed and one must be considered. But how are we going to know
what must come first? If there’s a lot
of things inside your mind. And you can’t even relax it to think. These two
scened got their problems in common but they have also differences. Like Creusa
begs something to Aeneas which is not only for her own safety but including
their son. But Andromache only did this for her own sake without considering
someone.
We
know that our time is limited and we don’t know when it will end. So as earlier
as this, we must know the right thing to begin. And finish what does next to
continue overcoming the rest. All the decision of how you are going to start
and how are you going to end it is in your mind and heart. But we should not
forget that we should watch our decisions so that we couldn’t hurt others.
