Will It be Ever Come True?
Other
says dreams are opposite of what’s happening in real life. It is the fancy of
those that sleep. But my story would not just be an imagination or even oppose
the real scent of life. My story is true but funny.
We have a group that has members who are very close to
each other. They are sharing laughter and sorrows. Sometimes others used to
arraign someone to make us smile.
A guy named Andy is the one
who always speaks garrulous words to Charlie, our leader. But Charlie acquiesce
the jokes because he’s so kind and understanding. He already had his
baccalaureate last year. And we are proud of him. There’s always happiness
whenever we are together. Some of my friends love to entice and write. Others
like epicure all the time if they are not busy.
One time, an awkward moment came to us while practicing
our song. We are talking about the chandelier in the church and then Charlie
approached and gave each of us and share chocolates (kisses). We are making fun
because before he gave us there’s always a condition and dares. When we are
about to go home, I said “Thank you for the chocolates, Charlie”. And a queue
girl spoke and said “Yeah, thanks for the kiss”. We all laugh and started
teasing her to Charlie. She’s beautiful but a little bit fat, her name is Leonie.
Every time we have a rendezvous, Leonie stays sweet to Charlie and it seems
that she stands on what she said and how we treat her. But since Charlie is so
kind, he’s just blushing and tell himself never mind.
One time when Charlie is doing something and Leonie is
not yet around, Andy told us about his dream. He dreamt about Charlie and
Leonie that they have a secret relationship and they’re just pretending their
act is just for fun. Leonie likes to vociferate that’s why we are calling her “Mouth
Girl’.
One time we went in an event, they are looking at what
Leonie’s wearing. A sleeveless white dress covered with transparent Colorful
blazer. We are playing jokes at each other when Charlie called Leonie “sexy” and
so they did the same. Leonie doesn’t want us to call her that way. But we are
really fastidious. The days continue to be interesting. While we are having a
food trip in the cute hut in the backyard of our friend’s house, we decided to
have a forum or we can also say truth or dare. Some did and answered what have
been asked to them. When it’s Charlie’s turn, we asked a superfluous question
about what he feels with Leonie. And it seems that he was taciturn.
We were all shocked when we heard what Leonie said. “I
told you I love, I love playing tricks”. We are wondering on what she is
talking about. Leonie spoke again.”We are not meant to be, I know what you guys
thinks about us. I know what was Andy’s dream and no one even tell me about it.
So, we decided to pretend that we like each other. You played trick on me we
played trick on you, too”.
Andy’s dream here didn’t come true. Maybe others believe
on what dreams really for. But here, the dream was just for tricks and to test
the loyalty of the friends that surrounds them. Until now, some of my friends fight
for others to smile when they are lonely. I think I already found my true
friends. We can forget the misunderstandings to save our friendships.
